Accessibility is important to us. We are an Out-of-Network provider (OON). All clients can receive a superbill for submission to their insurance provider. Low-cost options are available upon request.

Couples/Family Counseling - $225+/hour ($50.00 sliding scale w/intern)

We can serve as an unbiased source of knowledge to help you and your loved ones find solutions to issues that arise in your relationships and manage transitions.

  • Couples in all types of relationships, including heterosexual, polyamorous, and LGBTQ+

  • Traditional/non-traditional family dynamics

    Insurance typically does not cover the cost of marriage couples/counseling. Therefore, we recommend you consult your provider regarding your benefits before counseling.

Support Groups - $50/session

Connecting with others can be a pivotal part of healing and growth. We facilitate curated groups to unite people, allowing you to gain support from others walking a similar path.

Forensic Services- $300+

We provide comprehensive forensic evaluations and assessments for a multitude of legal issues involving adults, adolescents, and children. Virtual evaluations in the following states: Maryland, Michigan, New York, North Carolina, Virginia, and Florida.

Areas of Focus:

  • Determining if a match exists between the person being evaluated and the criteria found in the DSM-5TR and other diagnostic criteria.

  • Evaluations for Court Proceedings, including Custody, Guardianship, Criminal Actions or Adjudications, Parole and Probation Hearings, Drug Programs, and Domestic Violence

  • Criminal Responsibility Assessments to determine the presence of mental illness at the time of a crime.

  • Evaluation for mental illness or defect and competency.

  • Juvenile assessments on behalf of the court regarding delinquency.

  • Traffic Violations cases.

  • Execution of legal documents and adjudications of Criminal or Civil Commitment Mental Health Providers

    We may also request additional information for our reports, such as court records, police reports, medical records, and more.


IMMIGRATION SESSION

Immigration Evaluations - $1100+/

Psychological Immigration Services are not always easy to locate. We can assist in the evaluation and diagnostic process needed for/associated with various immigration statuses.

Areas of focus:

  • U-VISA: Immigration status for victims of certain crimes who have suffered mental or physical abuse and in the investigation or prosecution of criminal activity.

  • T-VISA: A temporary immigration benefit that enables certain victims of a severe form of human trafficking to remain in the United States for up to 4 years if they have assisted law enforcement in an investigation or prosecution of Sex Trafficking or Labor Trafficking.

  • Asylum: Refugee status or asylum may be granted to people who have been persecuted or fear they will be persecuted because of race, religion, nationality, and/or membership in a particular social group or political opinion

  • Extreme Hardship: Analyzing specific circumstances that may strengthen the case of the family or individual, ranging from health issues, financial considerations, education/opportunity loss, and personal and other social factors.

  • VAWA: Under the federal Violence Against Women Act, you may be eligible to become a lawful permanent resident (get a Green Card) if you are the victim of battery or extreme cruelty committed by a U.S. citizen close to you.

  • Substantiation of Good Faith Marriage: An evaluation process is needed for Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, in which a conditional permanent resident must document their good faith marriage. With proper evidence, we can help prove that your marriage was genuine and not created to circumvent immigration laws.

We are a LGBTQ+ affirming practice. We work with businesses on reviewing their paperwork and training to be affirming when working with employees and HR paperwork. Fees listed only include video based hourly rate and not travel, lodging and food expenses.

Do you have an immigration evaluation therapist?

We have fully licensed clinical therapists in multiple states who are able to conduct your immigration evaluations for you.

Do you conduct immigration evaluation training?

Do you conduct immigration hardship evaluations?

Yes, we do conduct immigration hardship evaluations. We also conduce UVisa, TVisa and VAWA evaluations.

Do you offer Spanish-speaking therapy?

We do have clinical interns who are bilingual and offer therapy services in Spanish. To find out more about them please access that staff page.

Do you offer virtual DBT therapy?

Do you have a black therapist?

Yes, we do have black therapists, black interns, and other POC interns and ally POC interns at the practice.

Do you offer international therapy?

We do offer international therapy. Therapy is dependent on the country where the client is residing, the laws regarding therapist seeing clients in their country, and the client’s current mental state. Please contact our office regarding more questions at 410-870-5615.

Do you complete a bariatric psychological assessment?

We do offer bariatric assessments within the practice. Clients who are interested or in need of these services should contact the office at 410-870-5615.

What happens at a bariatric consultation?

During the consultation or intake process, the therapist will request items from your medical provider and any other pertinent information.

Can you conduct the bariatric psych evaluation online?

Yes, we can and do offer bariatric psych evaluations online through our secure video system. To schedule, your appointment please contact the office at 410-870-5615. Thank you.

Do you conduct court-ordered family therapy?

We do offer therapy to families who are court-ordered to attend therapy. The therapist to the client will need to know prior to conducting the session what items are required to be completed or addressed.

How do I get court-ordered mandated therapy documentation?

Once you have scheduled an appointment with your therapist, they will complete your clinical notes at the end of the session. Any diagnostics or documentation required as mandated by the courts will be completed and provided throughout and at the conclusion of your sessions.

Is court-mandated therapy free?

No, court-mandated therapy is not free. You would pay the cost associated with individual and/or family therapy sessions.

Do you offer domestic violence classes online?

We will be offering domestic violence classes virtually starting in February 2023.

How long does anger management classes last?

Your length of mandated anger management classes will depend on two factors, the assessment completed on your initial intake session and the requirements required by the courts. Classes can range from 8 weeks to 52 weeks.

I see you offer a premarital course. Do you also offer a premarital course certificate of completion?

Do you offer court approved anger management classes?

Yes our classes are court approved.

Do you provide court order anger management assessment?

Yes, those mandated to attend the classes will receive an assessment. We also offer separate assessments as well.

Do you offer anger management youth programs?

Yes, beginning in January 2023 we will be offering anger management programs for adults and youths.

What are some of the premarital counseling topics that are discussed?

We address a multitude of items when conducting premarital sessions. A premarital counseling questionnaire is provided to you prior to meeting with the therapist.

Do you have a late cancellation policy?

Yes, late cancellations (24 hours or less notice) or no show to therapy are billed after your second late cancellation (24 hours or less notice) or no-show. Clients are charged the full rate for services. That cost can be $180.00 for individual sessions and $200.00 + for couples sessions and $250.00 for polyamory (3+ more partner sessions).

What happens if you receive a court subpoena for my documents?

In the event, a therapist is required to attend court proceedings, a retainer of $1200 per day is required before participation in legal proceedings. Charges will be incurred at the rate of $135 per hour + the allowable IRS mileage reimbursement rate.

To pay an hourly rate of $180 for time spent preparing and writing any formal or legal documentation including but not limited to medical letter requests, court letters, disability determinations, assessments, and treatment summaries.

What about letter writing? Do you provide those as well?

Any request for letters from my therapist will incur a separate fee. We do not provide the following letters: Service animal letters.  

In the event that a client would need to have a letter written that my therapist is legally able to do so a fee would be incurred if the letter will take the therapist over 15 minutes to complete. The fee will be aligned to one billable hour at the rate of $180.00.

What are my rights under surprise medical bills?

In compliance with the No Surprises Act that went into effect January 1, 2022, we are required to notify all healthcare consumers of your Federal rights and protections against “surprise billing”.

This Act requires that we notify you of your federally protected rights to receive a notification when services are rendered by a non-participating provider and provide options to receive care from an in-network provider if one is available.

Additionally, we are required to provide you with a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of services for the duration of treatment. It is difficult to determine the true length of treatment for mental health care however one will be provided to you once you have set up your appointment session.
